- Tesla Wall Connector. Hardwired on a 60 amp circuit for up to 48 amps of charging, the fastest home setup for a Tesla. It also works with other EVs using an adapter or the J1772 version.
- NEMA 14-50 outlet. A 50 amp outlet for the mobile charger that came with your car. Lower cost, and you can unplug and take the charger with you.
- Level 2 chargers from other brands. ChargePoint, Emporia, Grizzl-E, Ford, Rivian and others, hardwired or plug-in.
- Commercial and multi-unit chargers. Businesses, fleets and parking lots. See commercial electrical.
Will my panel handle it?
Most newer homes in Frisco, Prosper and Little Elm have a 200 amp panel, and most of those can take a charger without an upgrade. We run a load calculation first so the breaker isn't overloaded when the AC, dryer and oven are running at the same time. If your panel is full or tight, we have options: a smaller circuit, a load-sharing setting on the charger, or a panel upgrade if it really needs one. We'll tell you which and why.
What affects the price
- Distance from the panel to where you park. A charger on the same garage wall as the panel is the simplest job.
- Whether the wire runs through the attic, the garage wall or outside in conduit.
- Charger type and amperage.
- Panel space and capacity.

Permits and inspection
EV chargers need an electrical permit in Frisco, Prosper, Little Elm, McKinney and most cities around them. We pull it under our license and handle the city's questions and corrections. That protects your insurance and keeps the sale of your house clean later.

Questions we get
How long does an EV charger install take?
Most garage installs take a few hours. Longer runs through the attic or outside can take most of a day. The city inspection is scheduled separately.
Do I need a Tesla Wall Connector or is an outlet enough?
An outlet with your mobile charger adds roughly 30 miles of range per hour, which is plenty for most daily driving. A Wall Connector charges faster and is hardwired, which many people prefer for a clean, permanent setup.
Do you install chargers for cars other than Tesla?
Yes. We install Level 2 chargers for every brand, and NEMA 14-50 outlets work with almost any EV's portable charger.
Are there rebates?
Some utilities and programs offer rebates on Level 2 chargers. They change often, so check with your utility (Oncor or CoServ, depending on your street) before you buy. We can give you the paperwork they ask for.
